New Design Team Members

Introducing four new Design Team members! Please welcome....

Elisabetta

My name is Elisabetta, I live in Italy and I study ancient languages, history and italian literature at the University. In the future I would like to be a teacher in high schools or middle schools.

I discovered scrapbooking in 2007. I didn't have many supplies back then but I really enjoyed it anyway! Unfortunately I wasn't constant and I just made a few pages every year. In 2013 though, after I visited my best friend in Boston, I felt like I had to document that beautiful trip with scrapbooking. Since then I've developed my style (I would define it simple, girly and free), I've opened a blog and a YouTube channel and I can say that I love this hobby more every day!

I'm very happy and honored to be a part of this amazing team and I'm looking forward to show you my layouts!

Simona

My name is Simona, I live in Italy, in Bologna. Fabio's mate and mother of Jacopo (19 years) and Sara (14 years).
I'm a scrapper at dawn, I like to get up early and stay in my "scrap-niche", a little space only mine, where I can relax by creating mainly LO, followed by PL and cards.
Scrapbooking is a wonderful hobby that let me leave memories for my children; in fact in my LO journaling, even just drop a line, never miss exactly to fix time and make it eternal.
I'm very happy and honoured to be part of this amazing team!!

I discovered scrapbooking two years ago and I love it as it combines a little bit of everything.. Photos, painting, embelishments! I like to try new things and I am very happy when I discover a new use for a button or a thread! I don't have a certain style but you will certainly see in my pages vibrant colors, thread and splashes quite often! I love making layouts , but I enjoy making mini albums, wish books and books for recipes! There is a lot yet to learn!

15th Feb - Where You Live

Todays challenge is...
Where you live - We want to know about where you live, you could choose to scrap about your house, your neighbour hood or your country, up to you!

Here are where our design team live...

I live in Seoul, Korea. I love the traditional culture of Korea. This is called a Gyeongbokgung Palace. The palace was built in 1395. I invite you to the Gyeongbokgung Palace!!! Welcome!

Hilde

Journaling: "Home: May be more than just a large house at the seaside, it's a place where you find a bike in the living room, piles of clothes to be ironed, kids, cats and every day life"

Jinny
One of the best things about our home is that it is right around the corner from one of our favorite parks.  So, I chose to scrap a few pictures from a walk I took with my family to just such a place.  I was inspired by a heap of new goodies that came in my Noel Mignon Love Life Classic Kit, as well as a bunch of My Mind's Eye embellishments that I had on hand, but mostly that amazing, mixed media, background paper.
When I think about where we live right now, one of the first things that comes to mind is the beautiful field of wildflowers that grows close to our home.  The field blooms about 3 times each year and every time, something different pops up - it's always so gorgeous to see!

You have until 1st March to enter your layouts to the side bar.
Welcome to all our new followers and thank you to everyone that entered our Design team call which is now closed, if you entered keep an eye on your inbox I should be contacting you soon! I cant wait to add some great new designers to the team.

Happy Scrapping!

1st Feb - Sketch

Its about time we had another lovely sketch, this time Valerie's has been inspired by Sindi's lovely layout from 4th January.

Hee Sun Kim :

She is a good student and my friends. When I was tough, Her words were great encouragement to me. I always appreciate you.

Hilde:
I chose to go really white space this time:

Journaling says: "Cliff (my hubby) certainly rock yeast dought and bake bread at least twice a week. He doesn't mind surpising us either - like with this Nutella wreath."

Kat:
I had fun with this sketch - any sketch that encourages me to incorporate a doily is a win in my book!

You have until 1st of March to link up your entries to the side bar, we would love to see what you do with the sketch.

Don't forget our design team call, you still have 2 weeks to enter, see post below.

Happy Scrapping!
