I loved the recipe! It was so much fun figuring out how to include every ingredient in my page... I managed to tick off every single of them and ended up with a quite simple but lovely layout - hardly any of my usual textures and dimensions are here. That's what scrapping is all about - venturing into the new and learning from it. I am looking forward to seeing your work!

Jinny
My big kiddo has been on a Mexico mission trip, with his dad, all week; and he'll only be home for a couple of days before he's out the door for another week at church camp.  Needless to say, I've been missing him.  So, I managed to use our entire recipe list, not to mention some fabulous goodies from this month's Citrus Twist Kit, as I put together this page of one of our dates last spring.

Rachel
Well I managed to use all ingredients on this layout. Not my usual style but it is always good to move out of your comfort zone every now and then. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Seunguen Lee
I used it all, such a fun challenge!! I worked with a picture taken from the sea.
It is getting hotter these days and it makes me want to go to sea. Do you want to do this this summer?!
Have fun with our challenge~!!:)

Susanne

What a fun challenge this was.  In order to make the doily and lace ribbon work with my otherwise very modern page, I found the least fussy options I could in my stash.  I used everything on the list, including double-duty enamel "dots" that are star shaped.  I stenciled, edged and splattered with 4 shades of ink.

Yasmina

I tried to use everything but.. i failed! :))
My first daughter on the photo, a shooting in may. I love these chipboards from a polish manufacturer SnipArt.

I hope that's inspired you to have a go, if so please link up your layouts by 3rd July.

Happy Scrapping!

5th June - Sketch

Welcome to another challenge here at The Studio! Today's challenge is ..

A Sketch - Made by me (Anna), it was inspired by Seungeun Lee's flower layout.

Here are the design teams take on it;

To build the cluster I used two papers - black and sienna which I tore rather than cut to give them a used, vintage look. In between the layers, I added pieces of lace and some paper straws. The rest is as usual - stencils, texture and flowers. You can see more on my blog. I am looking forward to seeing your interpretation of the sketch.

Kerry
I turned this great sketch to accommodate my portrait photo and used some older papers by Teresa Collins for all those lovely layers!
I'm sure you can't resist playing along with this sketch too and I look forward to seeing all the various interpretations.

I have used Coco Vanilla Studio Free Spirit collection and a butterfly/floral wreath cut file from the Silhouette Design Store. I loved this sketch and look forward to seeing your take on it.

I worked with pictures taken from South Korea Changgyeonggung. Changgyeong is the old palace. The first went to. It is beautiful there.

I loved playing with all the layers in this sketch, and used subtle embossed flower paper in lieu of the large flower clusters shown and added lots of other textures as well to complement these vintage photos of my Mom.

I used the lovely collection from Bo Bunny "You're invited" with a pic of my two daughters during their shooting in May.

Hope you like the sketch and it has inspired you to join in with us. Please link up your layouts to the side bar by 3rd July. We look forward to seeing your takes on this sketch!
