6th Feb Layout Challenge

Welcome to the new way of doing things here at The Studio! First I would like to thank Rebekah for all her hard work posting the all challenges, she will be missed. From now on I (Anna) will be posting the layout challenges for you every other Sunday.
Today Amanda has challenged us to a colour challenge!

Today we welcome the new layout team with their interpretations of the challenge.

Anna
I love this colour combination, I don't usually use a lot yellow in my scrapping but I'm really pleased with how this turned out!

Heather

For some reason, I usually shy away from color challenges but after participating in a couple lately I realize I've been missing out on quite a bit of fun. Since this is supposed to be a LOVE themed layout I choose to focus on two people that I never scrap about. I ALWAYS focus on the kids so it was nice to dedicate a layout to just me & the hubby. I think the pictures show how happy we are, which worked out perfectly for me to journal a private "LOVE NOTE" on the back.

Lisa

I loved working with this colour combo and decided to get down with the mists, inks and paints using this palette.

Nadia
Hi there everyone. Nadia here with my first ever Studio Challenges DT layout. I am truly honoured and VERY excited to be part of this magnificent team of talented crafters and look forward to a wonderful term here at The Studio Challenges.
So, here is my layout using the specified colour combo. It was indeed interesting trying to create a 'love' themed layout using non traditional colours, so I focused this layout on a different love....the love my husband and I have for our two little girls. I hope I have inspired you in some way to give this challenge a try! See you next time, Nadia.

Teresa
I thought I'd give myself an extra challenge - not only scrapping without one of my favourite colours - red, but scrapping subjects I always associate with pinks and reds - my daughters.  I've got a brown eyed brunette and a blue eyed blonde - as different as possible in the looks department, but they are inseparable.
I hope I've conveyed the topic 'love' - the love I have for them as well as the love the have for each other.

As well as the layout team some of the girls from other teams might join in from time to time when the inspiration hits and this week we've been joined by Julie and Tessa with thier takes on the challenge.
