Morning, friends! Just popping back in with our third and
final, July challenge. Be it hand, machine, and/or
faux... We're looking for stitching on this week's page. Here's how the Design Team was inspired.
Hannah
This
layout I use the paper & chipboard stickers of COCOAVANILLA the
color is beautiful! I cut butterfly paper half and use two sides to
make up one paper. I sewn it to the Khaki paper. You can see white line
in four corners.Than I use lace paper under the photo and folder on two
little clip.Final I put iron and the title to finish. It is easy to sewn
in corner you can try it! Hop you like this. And Hope this can inspire
you.
Jinny
I did some hand and machine-stitching on my layout, which was further inspired
by a mix of a variety of different Citrus Twist packages over the months. I just love
how the old and new co-mingled effortlessly for my take.
Rachel
I
love to sew on my layouts (it adds a wonderful texture) so this
challenge was totally in my comfort zone (lucky me)!!!! I have created a
fun summer layout with a gorgeous fringed flamingo. I have machine sewn
around my cactus, flamingo and as a way of underlining the date,
destination, adventure printed on my base paper. Head to my blog for
more details on this layout. I do look forward to seeing your creations!
Vivian
I
add stitching, whether it's hand-stitched or machine based, on nearly
everything I make. It's my "bread and butter" of paper crafting. So I
actually challenged myself with a large title instead. I go into lots of
details on this layout on my blog. Thanks for stopping by today!
Now, it's your turn; and we can't wait to see what you all cook up! You have until Sunday, August 13, 2017, to link up your takes, on this In Stitches Challenge and/or our previous, July No People Challenge and/or Scraplift Challenge, in the right-hand column. Thanks so much for stopping by, friends! Happy scrapping!

16th July - No People
Good Morning, friends; and welcome to our new challenge! Today we challenge you to create a layout with photo(s) possessing no people. Here's how the Design Team was inspired.

As soon as I saw this challenge, I immediately knew just the photo that I wanted to scrap. It's a photo of my workbook and Bible from a study I did at our last church. It wasn't until I was putting together the final, finishing touches, however, that I realized there was a person on the cover of that workbook. There wasn't time to start over, so I went with it. All of the goodies you see here came from my July "#rightnow" Citrus Twist kit. I absolutely adore all those scrumptious, Bella Blvd. Make Your Mark die cuts!
Vivian
Forgive the photo editing, as I'm learning a new program. Anyway our tour of Germany last year lead us to this little village called Dinkelsbuhl. Above some of their shops were these symbolized or "picture" signs. In old Europe, the general population could not read so shops used these types of signs to let people know what they offered. This was the cutest little town, but can you imagine a time where most people could not read?

This layout I use this photo that I want to keep the moment of a
relaxation trip and I use this title to represent. I use the flower
paper of COCOAVANILLA and cut it out to arrange.Hope you like it.

When recently on holiday I met this beautiful peacock and this challenge
was a perfect excuse to scrap this beauty! Technically a bird is still a
no people layout right!!!!! Head to my blog for all the details on this
layout.

2nd July- Scraplift
Good Morning and welcome to our new challenge. Today we challenge you to....
Scraplift; we want you to pick one of the Design Teams challenge layouts to Scraplift, it can be any layout you like from this blog.
Here are the layouts the DT picked and their scraplifts;
Hannah
I choose this layout by Jinny.
This layout inspired me to use this photo and a big title. I used mini alpha punch by WE R to make this title. This photo is a scraping layout class in TAIWAN. I love this moment where everyone joined together so I used it. Hope it can inspire you and hope you like it.
Jinny
Since I didn't get to take part in last month's Sketch Challenge, based upon Vivan's take on our May Recipe Challenge, I couldn't resist choosing her page as my muse for this challenge.
I used lots of Elle's Studio goodies to get it done, and nearly everything you see here came from a Citrus Twist Kit Club box at one time or another.
Rachel
Well I have chosen a fab layout by Jinny!
And here is my take on her sketch! I have used Kaisercraft Island Escape collection with lots of fussy cutting of hibiscus flowers. I look forward to seeing what layouts you choose to scrap lift!
Vivian
I have chosen to scrap lift Rachel's layout. I must confess, it really wasn't a stretch for me as her and I have similar scrappy style. We did create a layout using the same file with the circle of clouds. I used lots of embellishments from Pretty Little Studio and hand-stitched the clouds for added texture. Thanks for stopping by today!!

How strange out of all these layouts two of the DT picked the same layout!
We would love to see which layout you pick as your inspiration, please link up your layouts to side bar.
You have until 13th August to join in.
Happy Scraplifting!
