21st Oct - Sketch

It is the second challenge of the month, which can only mean one thing, it's time for another sketch! Valerie has made this sketch from a lovely layout Tessa made for a previous challenge.
Here are the design team's creations!

Anna
I kept quite close to the sketch, just changed the hearts for circles. This is my cute little
nephew pretending to be a doctor!

When my friend was visiting me in the UK a few weeks ago we drove to the coast. KC is one of those girls who HAS to put her feet into the water - no mater how cold it might be! So brave! I wouldn't have done that even in summer! Instead I took lots of pictures of her enjoying the coldness and cut the pics down to squares to fit with Val's sketch!

I just love Val's sketches. All elements fits together.
And they are also very inspiring!
Scrapping is very easy with her!

Kat

And a close-up:

I loved Tessa's original layout so much, that I actually stuck pretty close to the sketch.  Why should I mess with a good thing?  :o)

Katherine

The title came from a free silhouette die cut and the page grew from that - with one of my bursts of sunshine in the centre :)

Jules

Here's my take on the sketch - I swapped the hearts for a tag and a wood veneer circle, but other than that I think I stuck fairly closely to the sketch. I love this one so much I think I'll be using it again!

Petra

I just discovered that I can use the distresses on masks - yes I know I am very late discovering this ... been misting and using acrylic paint up to now - and I just love the effect. Here I used 3 different masks and distresses. the big hearts I converted into many small. The pictures are of my crazy cute kids that love to be face painted... they have very specific demands on exactly what the face paint should look like and then they start some sort of roll-play being the new creatures.

Tessa
I discovered that scraplifting yourself is not an easy task. To get over my creative block, I decided to stay true to a few elements and then have fun with the rest. Giving myself a little freedom was all it took to bring it together.

Valerie
I loved Tessa's page so much I did not deviate very far from the sketch. I did replace the heart shapes layered beneath the photos with some more rectilinear layers.

I even used one of Tessa's hand made flowers to complete my page!

We also have a couple of layouts from the Teresa Collins DT to share with you...

Don't forget if you enter this month you could be in with a chance of winning a great prize from Teresa Collins!

Can't wait to see what you do with this sketch, happy Scrapping!
