10th Nov - Tic TacToe

Today we have a tic tac toe challenge for you! All you need to do is pick a line from the gird, any line straight or diagonal and create a layout using them, easy!

Here's what the design team created:

Anna
I went with the middle line of the grid twine, buttons and triangles. With those things, I thought bunting was a must!! The photo is of one of my gorgeous nephews born in the spring!

Cari
For my tic-tac-toe challenge I chose Glitter-Washi tape-Chipboard. I use a photo of my cats playing along in this very fun pose, It looks like they were falling from the sky holding hands LOL. I mist the background and made a little layering behind the photo.
You can find the glitter on the tittle "C@TS", the washi tape on the layering and the chipboard on the green tag behind the photo

Daphne
What a fun challenge! I haven't done a TicTacToe challenge before and it was quite hard to decide.
In the end I went for the first line: Glitter - Washi Tape - Chipboard

Hilde
I picked the bottom horizontal line for my layout: Chipboard, triangles, gold.
Chipboard: a mix of raw, unpainted chipboard (title) and ready made patterned chipboard (Arrows and "documented)
Triangles: There are triangles in the mask I used for my inked backround
Gold: On top and bottom: wide washi with golden dots. Gold rubons (Arrows, circles, stars, month tag)

Katherine
I went with masks, sequins and gold for my page.  I used the Tando sunburst mask with texture paste as a base then a golden tag and golden writing on chipboard from Crate Paper as well as a few blue sequins.

Jinny
I chose to make my tic-tac-toe, vertically down the far left side, by using glitter, polka dot Washi tape, and chipboard alphas.  Once again, I was inspired by my October JBS Mercantile Papercrafting Kit and, of course, my cutie pies.  I know.  I'm completely biased ;).
LOVE the pie chart trend, and anchoring one in behind all that yummy word art with machine stitches...
worked perfectly with my mixed-alpha title.

Petra
I choose Glitter + Twine + Masks for my page and this is it:

Stephanie
For my tic tac toe challenge, I went with a diagonal line and used glitter, buttons and gold. I started with a 4x6 photo of my husband. I wanted to work with colors that would complement all of the blue in the photo (the water and the cloudy sky) so I chose papers with shades of cream, grey and teal.
The biggest challenge I faced while making this layout was figuring out how to get gold and glitter onto a masculine layout. I decided "subtle" was the way to go. I added a little splash of gold and just a touch of glitter. I used blue glitter letter stickers by Maggie Holmes and mounted my photo onto some charcoal POW glitter cardstock by American Crafts. I also dusted some gold glitter paint onto my black buttons.

“In the beginning, I had very big problem! I didn't know, which line I should have chosen, because I appreciate most of possible combinations. So, I chose glitter, washi tape and chipboard. Therefore, everything was quite simple, and with smile on my face, I was splashing and stamping.
When I saw dreamcatcher - new chipboard and stamp from 3rd Eye, I knew, that I'm in love (one more time!).

For making a texture lo and feathers, I took acrylic modeling paste, in which I made stamps.

Chipboards were covered with glitter.

Please link up your lovely creations to the new linky over at the side bar, you have until 8th December to complete this months challenges, so that plenty of time to get creating and if you win you could be our guest designer for a month!
Happy scrapping!
