5pm Challenge from Valerie

“only in the summer…”

With summer winding up in the northern hemisphere - let's make a layout about something you only do in the summer (it can be an old tradition, or something simple – like something you eat, or wear, or a ritual. Or even something brand new you just discovered, but it needs to be a summer-only thing.)
I used: Cardstock: Bazzill (kraft), patterned paper, die cuts: Girls Paperie; hemp string: Close To My Heart; blue dots: Pebbles; White pen: Uniball Signo (most items from Studio Calico "Continental" kit).

Here's a detail of the journaling on the stitch line:
Here's another detail:

And here's the prize up for grabs. I was fortunate enough to win not 1, but 2 giant prize boxes filled with this Little Yellow Bicycle "Fresh Print Clothesline" collection so I'd like to donate this to one lucky participant:
That is the entire paper collection (12 sheets of gorgeous double-sided cardstock, plus 1 die cut sheet) and 1 pack of each of the following: epoxy buttons, fabric flowers, 6 x 6 dec edge cardstock, lace cut cardstock border/frames, cardstock stickers.
Add a link to your LO to the comments section below by 4th September and we'll choose a winner randomly from all those submitted. And of course you'll also have the chance of being our October Guest Designer :)
