Tessa has designed a Gratitude Journal. Here is Tessa's article:
Here in the US we celebrate Thanksgiving every November. I love sitting down with family for a big dinner, the wonderful food, and taking the day to remember my blessings. However, this year I decided to celebrate Thanksgiving all month long with a Gratitude Journal. Each day in November I will add a note to my journal that completes this sentence: I'm grateful for...
I made a simple mini album from three sheets of chipboard and two pieces of cardboard, enough to make a two-page spread for each week of the month.
Several pages have plenty of room for journaling:
The other pages have a journaling spot and embellishment:
If you'd like to join me in recording your thoughts of gratitude this month, it's not too late! You could whip up an album like mine, devote a blank notebook to the cause, or even join me on your favorite online social site. Through my blog, Facebook, and Twitter I am challenging myself and others to daily and publicly express gratitude all November long.
You can find more details about my challenge here, including a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate to my Etsy shop, Precocious Paper. And if you do give a Gratitude Journal a go, I'd love to see it. Leave a link in the comments below and I'll be sure to stop by and take a look.
What a gorgeous little album ... I love the idea of a double page per week ... and may have to nab that idea for my December album as I won't have time for a daily page this year.
