Apologies to our loyal players who have been thrown into limbo by our absence! I hope you understand that sometimes life just happens, and boy! Me and my DT have been hit by almost anything and everything life could throw at ya!
As many of you will know, Ning have made the decision to start charging for the use of their forums and communities. I have taken the decision to close our Ning group - I do not agree with having to charge our members to continue to use our site. This means that we will be without a forum and gallery for a while, until we find a suitable alternative.
Challenges will resume here as usual on Sundays starting from this coming weekend - 6th June. Thanks for your patience. See you then!

2nd May Challenge!
This week it's time to have some FUN! What makes you laugh without fail? Scrap about it... whether it's a single thing, or a list of things that make you giggle, get it in that album!
Here's what tickled our DT this week!
Laura Johnson
What makes me laugh? Team Johnson makes me laugh. ;-D
Rebekah Brumby
Connor started to take control of his wardrobe in February. It started with some suspect colour matches (purple shirt and lime green shorts, with wellies in February?!), and then developed into matching colours with funny accessories (shorts and a winter hat in March ;) ) and then matching clothes with accessories that match too :) It makes me giggle to see the process each day!

To enter your layout for a chance of winning the May prize you need to upload a picture to your blog, gallery or the gallery here at the studio. Then post your link to Mr Linky in the sidebar! We’d love it if you came back and posted here too, but as long as Mr Linky has your link you’ll be in the running for the prizes! If you are struggling to upload for any reason then you can email me your layout and I will post it up for you. The May challenges need to be uploaded before 1 week after the last Sunday of the month, so this month you need to have them in by 6th June. The more challenges you enter during the month, the more chances you have to win the prize!
***The April deadline is extended until 9th May to give you chance to catch up!!!***

25th April Challenge!
We have 2 more challenges for you this weekend to catch up! Then we're all square for May :)
The 25th April challenge is to scrap about technology. How has it affected you? Are there things you miss about doing things the 'old fashioned way'? Is there a bit of technology you couldn't live without? Show us!
Here are some sample layouts from the DT to get you started!
Nic Booth
When considering technology in general, it was a close call as to whether to make a page about my gloriously pink little ipod or my extremely clever mobile phone as having got used to the ease of having these amazing little gadgets in my life, I think it would be really hard to go back to existing without either, but it was my phone that won out as it's the first really 'all singing and dancing' phone I've had. I love it's design, all the apps, the fact I can watch my favourite programmes / surf the web and catch up with my emails as I am out and about....
I wanted to make a really grungy page, so chose papers from the Bobunny mama - razzi line and got my paints and bubble wrap out and got messy! My journaling records my thoughts about mobile phones and how my views about them have changed totally over the past decade.
Anna White-Sharman
I love technology! I love the way it is always advancing and how everything is being made smaller this days, like my Ipod and my mobile phone. It's hard to keep up with what they improve or come out with next!
I wanted to keep this layout bright and colourful with a modern feel. This is first time I've cut out a photo for a layout and I love it I will be doing it again!
Karen Wray ~ Guest Designer
This Lo is about my unknown reliance on my mobile phone, and the hard time that I have when it breaks down (got it wet once too many times). I used a lot of numbered paper for the background, as well as the listing from one page of our local directory. A frustrating time.

I have also realised I didn't post the winner for March's challeges! Seriously, I think I left my brain in Milton Keynes when we moved. So, without further ado... random.org has spoken, and the winner is number 4, Brainybairn (Avina!)
Congrats, Avina, and email me at amanda@scrapbook-101.com to claim your fabby American Crafts prize :D
