21st May - Colour Palette

Today's challenge is a lovely bright colour palette to inspire you.

Here are the design teams layouts....

Hannah
I love the colours of this mood board. For this challenge I used a journal page. First I used paper and tapped it around the page and wrinkled it. Then I used sprays and all the colours mixed and became other colours. It's amazing and exciting. Finally I used lace ribbon, a wooden arrow, flowers and the title "beautiful" to finish it. Hope this journal page can inspires you.

Jinny
I cannot even begin to express how much I love playing with color!  I was inspired to use one of the large title pages, from Pinkfresh's new Live More Collection, as the foundation for my take; and while I have to admit that the parameters of the page terrified me at first, I'm SUPER happy with the outcome.

Rachel
What a great mood board! I have gone fun and modern to match my photo. I have a used a cut file from Elle Studio. My paper collection is an older one by My Minds Eye, My Story collection. I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Vivian
I had so much fun with this challenge!! The colour palette is perfect for either spring or summer pages, so I went with summer. Lots of die cut madness going on with this page about my first cruise and Port Cozumel. Lots of fun details about how this came together on my blog. Thanks for stopping by today!!

You have until 4th June to join in with May's challenges. We look forward to seeing your layouts. Happy Scrapping!

7th May -Recipe Challenge

Good Morning! I hope you all enjoyed a bit of scrapping time yesterday for National Scrapbooking Day.

Today's challenge is...
Recipe challenge; here's a list of items to include in your layout, the more of these you can include the better!

Paint
Hand sewing
Fussy cutting
A Frame
Buttons
Pink

Hannah
I used pink and purple watercolour to on the background paper and used a frame behind the photo. I love this photo, I feel it's cute that facial expression of my daughter so I wanted to make something cute too. I used a lot of flowers and a fox to make the layout like fairy tale. Finally I put some buttons on to finish. Hope this layout inspires you.

Jinny
I've managed to include all of the items, from the recipe list, on my page, along with lots of goodies that came in my Citrus Twist kits at one time or another, a darling Pretty Little Studio Vintage Die Cut, and a cutie-patootie pic of my baby bear.

Rachel

Here is my recipe layout and I have used all of the ingredients (one or two maybe just a pinch lol). I have used an older collection by Dear Lizzy but I think it is good to use your stash up especially when they are lovely. I added random hand stitching to certain elements, splashed paint, fussy cut some flowers, used a chipboard frame, added a button and there are pink hues in my layout. This was fun to create and a great excuse to go through your stash. I look forward to seeing your creations!

Vivian

Hello there!! My recipe layout has it all but fussy cutting. I did cheat a little on the paint though. Shhh . . . don't tell anyone! I didn't actually use watercolors on this layout, the paper came like this. I don't own paints for layouts, although I do admire the effects. All the ingredients for this layout came from the Altenew Reflection kit. I did scrap lift this layout from one of Ashley Horton's past layouts. I love how it turned out!!! Thanks for stopping by today!!

I hope that has filled you with inspiration to join in with us. Please link up your layouts to the side bar by 4th June.
