Today's challenge is ....
Shapes; today we have a little twist on our shape challenge, this time we have a small list of shapes to include in your layout. They are ...
3 squares, 2 circles and 1 triangle.
You can use them however you like, big or small etc as long as you include them somewhere in your layout.

Diana

For my layout I used 3 square pictures, 2 color wheel circle dies and several triangles and small accents on my layout.

Maya

For this month's SHAPE challenge, I have 3 square photos, 2 watercolor circles, and more than 1 color triangle in this layout. This is also my first time creating a layout with my hand painted background and all the embellishments (trees, butterflies, clouds, etc.).

Michelle

Hey everyone. For this fun shape challenge I used the following: 3 larger squares of pattern paper behind my photo, 1 flair button and 1 punched circle, and 1 flag with the word fun.

Rainny

Hello! For this interesting challenge I used 3 square photos, 2 stitched circles, and 1 triangle behind the photo and in front of the circles. Hope you will like this.

Please link up your May challenge layouts up to the side bar, remember there are three this month!

17th May - Scrapbooking

Today challenge is ...
Scrapbooking; as it was NSD a couple of weeks back it got us thinking all about scrapbooking how and when did you got into it? What do you love about it? etc. Create a layout about your scrapbooking.

Here is what the design team, including our three new members came up with!

Diana
I started scrapbooking in 1997 when my first son was born. I knew the minute I got pregnant that I wanted to document everything! I love the way it helps to keep all of my family memories alive and when I'm older and can't remember my children will be able to look back and know what we did and how we loved. My oldest is 23 now and I have a 21 and 18 year old but I still love scrapping all our memories and even getting some goofy photos in my albums.

Helen
I started scrapbooking in 2002 when my twins were just 17months old. I went to a Creative Memories party and fell in love with the whole idea of recording my memories, however the worst part was I had to wait a whole month before I received my supplies to start creating with. Now 18 years later, I still love creating scrapbook layouts and today's page showcases my very first and my latest page.

Lori
I started scrapping 22 years ago after my sister bought me a Creating Keepsakes magazine. I fell in love with the pretty papers and loved the idea of documenting our story. Over the years scrapbooking has come to mean so much more to me. You can read the whole story over on my blog.

Maya
My scrapbooking journey started in 2013 when I visited the United States and my mom-in-law showed me her scrapbook collections. I was really amazed by the way she kept the photos and memories on the 12 x 12 pages with all the decoration. Immediately my crafting soul was inspired and I really wanted to know more about scrapbooking. This month's challenge is about scrapbooking, so I used my wedding photo with my scrapbook layouts. These pages on the photo are all the beautiful memories between me and my husband.

Michelle

Hey everyone. I started scrapbooking in 2003 after being invited to a Stamping’ Up home party and haven’t looked back!! I decided to create a page about my love of scrapbooking. When I first started it was all about documenting events with double page layouts. Now it’s about the everyday photos that make me smile and being creative.

Rainny
I started dating with my husband 9 years ago and wanted to record all our memories, and also the good times with my family and friends. That's why I began scrapbooking.
After so many years, I still enjoy the hand-made time and getting inspirations by participating different challenges.
Some good friends who like crafts and I meet up every month, and we craft together to make cards, scrapbooking layouts ,and etc. This party mode has been lasting more than 10 years.
I am so lucky to have good friends like them, and hope we will keep crafting together until we are old.

I think everyone did a great job with this challenge, beautiful layouts!
If you join in please do link up your layout to the side bar by 14th June.

Happy Scrapping!

New Design Team Members

Please welcome three new members to our design team! They are ...

Maya
Hello I am Maya from Taiwan, a beautiful subtropical country in Aisa. It's my honor to be part of DT and share my works with you here. I love everything about art and enjoy painting and crafting since I was a little kid. My scrapbooking journey started in 2013 when I visited the United States and my mom-in-law showed me her scrapbook pages. Since then scrapbooking has become a part of my life. My inspirations come from my experiences of travels, beautiful natural elements, and encouraging/motivating words. I love telling stories through my projects. Also I am a big fan of mixed media in combining different materials. More so a cocktail of imagery and joyfulness. Hope you enjoy our projects and they get you inspired here at The Studio Challenges. You may also check out my BlogInstagram, and Pinterest for more of my work. Thank you for stopping by!

Diana

Hi everyone! My name is Diana and I live about an hour outside of Aurora IL, in Yorkville. I've lived there with my family for 26 years and love the small town feel it still has. I do work full time for an aviation repair station and have learned tons (as well as found new ideas for embellishments). I've been scrapbooking since 1994 and cardmaking since 2002. I started when I had my first son and have never looked back. I am so excited to be a part of the Studio Challenges team and can't wait to start sharing! I'm new to the mixed media world but am picking it up quickly and love adding it to my projects. You can find me at the following places to check out my work.  MY BLOG INSTAGRAM FACEBOOK PAGE.
